Hadley's Blessing

Dear Hadley,
Today was a very special day.  Sometimes, when events are common, it is easy to think that they lose their special nature.  Sometimes people think that way about baby blessings.  But it isn't true.  Your dad held you in his arms, and the minute he started to speak, the spirit hit both of us very strongly.  There are very few times I have seen your dad get emotional; holding you in his arms and giving you a blessing was one of those times.  You are so special to us Hadley.  You have brought light and love into our home and our hearts.  Everyone is drawn to you.  All the kids want to hold you.  I could take pictures of you all day long because I'm always trying to capture how beautiful and precious you are to me.  Bringing you into this world was not easy, but I cannot imagine our life without you as a part of it.  Every time I look at you, I think, "It was worth it."  We are so grateful for you and love you with every bit of our hearts.  Always remember that.
